What Causes Positive Drug Test After Using Methamphetamines?

The last time I used methamphetamines was 12 days ago. I used them several times for a few days(used between 12 and 15 days ago) Yesterday I had a drug test and was still positive in that category. I will have another test in the next few days and cannot be positive again. In the past I was addicted to opiates for 3 years, but I have now been on suboxone for about 2 months. Someone suggested I have liver or kidney problems, but I have always been very healthy (before the opiate problem). I received antibiotics for a urinary tract infection 7 days ago and have finished them. Diabetes runs in my family and I've noticed that I have some of the signs of it. But I always thought one would probably know if they had something like diabetes. I'm worried about why methamphetamines are staying in my body so long. Opiates remained about 2 weeks after stopping, but I was taking a lot for a long time. This is different. Any suggestions on what to do, first about my drug test coming up soon and second about possible damage I've done to my body?

first, don't use them. This includes the obvious drugs of abuse but also nasal decongestants, asthma medicines and other stimulants that are closely related chemicals Likely to cross-react.
Then... don't use stuff the might keep them in your system. I'm not sure about antidepressants; they work to keep one's own stress hormones around longer, but I'm not sure one way or another if they interact with closely related drugs of abuse to keep them aorund longer.
