What Causes Pink Vaginal Bleeding While On Diflucan For Yeast Infection?

I had a yeast infection. Went to doctor then got diflucan one time oral tab. She did a vaginal exam. Well three days later after I take it I ve had a very light pink discharge. Then as I went to bathroom later I wiped again but put my finger with toilet paper on it in my vag just my thumb nail deep to see if there was blood and it was just enough to cover the paper. I m two days away from period. Could this be implantation bleeding?

Hello,

It can be both sex-related and other pathological reason :

1. Infection in the vagina can cause bleed itself or lead to dryness and cause bleeding
2. Dryness – infection, improper foreplay, dehydration, age factor, hormonal imbalance
3. Forceful sex causing injury
4. Normal menstrual bleeding (you may have an early period)
5. Benign or malignant polyp.
6. Foreign bodies - using sex toys during sex
7. Bleeding disorders
8. Eczema
9. Deep penetration in few positions during sex
