What Causes Pinching Pain In Right Side Post Surgery For Endometriosis?

I just had larposcopy surgery for endometriosis on tuesday the 23, but I haven t had a bowel movements since and I have unbelievable paiin on my right side. Also there is a bruise that popped up today on my right side? The pain is a pinching and a shooting pain? Is all this normal?

But laparoscopy is a mild invasive procedure so it does have some effect on bowel resulting in affected bowel movements.


Pain threshold can be different for different patients.
Yes the pain could be a result of procedure.
Or there could be due to nerve involvement as indicated by the nature of your pain.
Shooting and pinching pain is usually due to nerve involvement
Wud adv-
1.Plenty of oral fluids.
2.Could use some laxatives.
3.Green leafy vegetables.
4.Increased walking
5.Do PT INR and USG(A+P)
