What Causes Pin Prick Pain In Between The Eyebrows Of A Child?

My five year old is complaining of pin prick like pain right above his nose between his eyebrows. Seems like it comes and goes but seems to be a sharp pain right at that spot. Also says it feels inside of his skin not on the outside. ??? No visible signs of anything

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Based on the fact that the child does not have any other symptoms, it can be a vision issue. An ocular examination at the ophthalmologist is needed to exclude this possible condition and take proper treatment. Meanwhile, you can give your child Tylenol for the headache.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
