What Causes Pharyngitis?

I went to the er about5 weeks ago.. I was diagnosed with farangitis. I was not happy with I the pa treatment of me . I told him I had never had pneumonia in my life and then I had it 5 years in less than 5 years. Once they called it was King pneumonia, 2 times by aspiration and the last lumbar( I think). I was never sick with these pneumonia so. I have caughed going on6 weeks with deep green mucus sometimes with blood. I have run as much as three degree temp and wake up with my clothes and bedding wet. I am terrified of er s anyway, but I have never gone but once that I wasn t admitted. Please help me. My husband a 100% disabled veteran just learned he has a cancer of the liver that there is no treatment for. We only have one another to depend upon. Please help me. Imdont

Hello,

Consult a general practitioner and start a short course or antibiotics preferably amoxclav.

Do warm saline gargles also.

If symptoms persists you can consult an ENT specialist and get evaluated.
