What Causes Persistent Pain In Lower Abdomen Along With Constipation?

Hi, im 21 years old and for the past 8 months I get lower right abdominal pain and its somewhat tender to touch, and when I move around not unbearable. My doctor kind of ruled out appendicitis I dont have a fever or any other symptoms just randomly happens every couple of weeks and last about 3 days and goes away. Bowel movements are normal enough maybe slight constipation. What do you think it is? I am healthy with no serious illnes besides anxiety

HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

As you mentioned it is not likely an infection such as appendicitis because there is no fever and the symptoms would not be intermittent for the past 8 months.

It may be related to any structure in this area such as the bowel or parts of the genital tract if you are a female (eg the ovaries).

Since the pain is ongoing , an ultrasound of the abdomen and pelvis may be needed to pinpoint the source of the pain.

I hope this helps
