What Causes Persistent Nausea?

I m a 30 year old female...I m currently 3 days late for my period and not spotting at all which I normally start to spot a day or two before I fully start flowing ...I ve also been very tired lately sleeping every chance I get and feeling a bit nauseous but not actually vomiting...Should I take a pregnancy test to rule out?

Hi,

Continuous nausea can be due to pregnancy.

A home pregnancy test can be done after 8 days delay in periods. You can do it after 7 days.

You can go for blood hCG testing for pregnancy (+ve around mense date.)

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Vasudha Jayant Athavale,
