What Causes Persistent Irregularity In Menstrual Cycle?

I have not had a normal period since February. I have taken pregnancy tests and a blood test and they all come back negative. If I m not pregnant, what could be wrong? This is what has been going on the past few months. FEBRUARY: normal period MARCH: missed period APRIL: missed period. took a home pregnancy test. It was negative. Had some light bleeding for a day or two. MAY: missed period. Started having pregnancy symptoms. Took a home pregnancy test. It was negative.JUNE: missed period. Went to planned parenthood for a urine test. It was nevative. Had some light bleeding one night. Woke up the next morning to a lot of blood and then went to the doctor for a blood test which was nevative. All symptoms went away.   JULY: missed period

Thank you for asking the question.
I would like to know your age first to answer you properly.
Such irregularities occur when there is a perimenopausal period, hormonal imbalance or polycystic ovaries.
So have yourself examined for the above three possibilities.
Have an abdominal ultrasound to rule out polycystic ovaries.
If you age is more than 45 then probably this is the premenopausal time of yours.
If Poly cystic ovaries are not found then have your LH, FSH and Estorgen level done.
Best wishes.
