What Causes Persistent Intense Pain In The Mid Finger?
Hi, For the last 3 days my middle finger has been aching and in pain. It throbs, it s an extreme ache all day, it s swelled and has redness. It has been doing this on and off for about 3 months and lasts for about a week at a time. I m just wondering if you can help me determine what this might be

The symptoms are consistent with conditions like tendinitis: As first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopedic and plan for an MRI scan.
