What Causes Persistent Fever With Cough And Sore Body?

Hello. I have had a fever for nine days along with a severe cough and a very achy body. I have been taking 500 mg of Acetamminophen to break my fever but it always comes back. I just started taking 500 mg Amoxicilin about 2 in a half days ago. I have had no apatite this whole time. Today I have pins and needles in my throat. I don t know what to do and have no money to see a Dr. I have also tried home made chicken soup and hot teas. Please help. Thank you.

The symptoms you gave are depicting Acute tonsilitis. Appetite decreases in sever throat infection. Your appetite ill improve as soon as your heath improves. If a patient with these symptoms comes to my clinic then i would suggest following:
> Take amoxicillin/clavulonic acid 625mg thrice a day for 7 days
> take acetaminophen for fever
> Diphenhydramine + Dextromethorphan for cough
> take hot water in a cup, add 1 table spoon salt. Perform gargles( mouth wash) with it 3 times a day for at least 2-3 days.

AVOID:
> Chilled water
> Drinks
> Chilly food
> Dust
