Hi there,

Thanks for writing in.

I would like to advise you to get further blood investigations done to rule out other disorders like Tuberculosis, Typhoid, Malaria, Dengue, etc since you are having persistent fever etc.

Please visit a physician at the earliest who might also advise a chest X ray, Ultrasound abdomen and other blood investigations after a detailed history and examination.

In the meantime, keep yourself well rehydrated. Drink plenty of fluids. Take a tablet of paracetamol.

But please do visit a physician at the earliest..

Take care.

Regards,
Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan

Hi Arjun

Thanks for posting your query.

Most common cause of fever is bacterial or viral infection .
What test you have done is not sufficient to diagnose what is causing fever in you.
It could be Typhoid , Malaria , Dengue fever, Throat infection , Pneumonia etc .

I advise you to get Complete Hemogram IgM Typhi dot, Smear for malaria parasite and revert back to me with reports .

Till then you can take paracetamol for fever.

Looking forward for your reply.
