General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

BPPV is primarily treated with a maneuver called Epley's maneuver.

It is a series of moves that are supposed to effectively treat this inner ear disorder. Images and instructions are available online.

If the vertigo is not related to BPPV, then Epley would not be effective so if you do not observe any change in symptoms after performing it, you may need to be reassessed.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Michelle Gibson James, General & Family Physician
