General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

From colour of stools I suspect mallorca Weiss syndrome. It is a condition where tear occurs in mucous membrane where esophagus meets stomach. Most of the cases it needs no treatment. It is diagnosed by endoscopy. In some cases tear may not heal, and so treated with cauterisation, epinephrine injection, embolisation of artery, and high gastrotomy.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Pavani
