General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,
Antibiotics are used to treat bacterial infections.
Human body has normal bacterial flora in intestine which are responsible for digestion of certain unused substances, suppress the growth of harmful microbes, strengthens human system for pathogens, saves from some diseases.
Long-term antibiotics usage causes disturbance of this normal bacterial flora allowing this pathogens to grow and reduce our ability to digest this carbohydrates or unused substance in intestine which causes diarrhoea.
You must discontinue this antibiotics and take probiotics lactobacilli and racecadrotil orally with fluid and electrolyte imbalances.
Consult your physician before changing the treatment.
Thanks
