What Causes Persistent Cough With Severe Sneezing?

Hi, I have had a post nasal drip, clearing of my throat, cough lasting about 3 weeks now. I am also sneezing and my symptoms are worse in the morning. I am 55 year old woman in good shape, five feet nine, 135 lbs. I have not experienced any fever, wheezing, or body aches. The mucous is clear or white. I am however a former smoker, having quit over ten years ago. I live at very high altitude, about 8500 feet with very dry conditions. My symptoms improve when I am in an air conditioned environment. I have experienced these symptoms before, however they never lasted this long. I tried allegra for allergies and discontinued using it after afew days because it upset my stomach. What would you suggest?

Hi, i got your point..
I my self have the same problem as you have. I have post nasal drip, sneezing and some times dry cough.
There is nothing to worry.
I recommend cetrazine which is good anti allergic at night before you go to bed.
As it is prescription medicine your local doctor will advise you.
