What Causes Persistent Cough, Fatigue And Knee Stiffness In Spite Of Taking Levoquin?

felt like I was coming down with a cold and traveling to NY so my dr gave me a z-pak one week later I felt worse so he gave me levoquin and an inhaler. I completed them and still feel like I have very low energy, still coughing, knees feel very stiff and hurt when I walk. wrists also feel sore when moving them. are all these sypmtoms related? should I be feeling better? it all started around December 8th.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear Greetings
Regarding your experience with persistent cough with no improvement following zpak and levoquin prescription I will suggest you are developing an acute chest infection

In view of this please do a chest x-ray and take the following pending the outcome of the result Tablet ceporex flagyl

Concerning your stiffness of the knee fatigue I believe you have developed an osteoarthritis which is exacerbated by cold and this is not related to the above condition

Please take tablet Athrotec lyrica gabapentin

I hope this helps Regards
