What Causes Persistent Bleeding After A Miscarriage?

Hi, I recently had a miscarriage and had to do D&C. Bleeding did not stop afterwards and did ultrasound. Below are my test results. what does this mean? Should I worry??? The uterus measures 6.6 x 3.2 x 4.4cm. There are no uterine masses. The endometrial echo complex measures 18.0mm. There is a heterogeneous endometrial echo complex. The right ovary measures 1.4 x 1.1 x 0.8cm. The left ovary measures 1.5 x 1.7 x 1.3cm. No definite abnormal flow is identified on color Doppler sonography in the region of the endometrial echo complex. IMPRESSION: Mild thickening and heterogeneous endometrial echo complex. This may represent hemorrhage and or retained products of conception. No definite arteriovenous malformation identified on color Doppler sonography in the uterus or endometrial echo complex. No adnexal mass or free pelvic fluid.
