What Causes Persistent Abdominal Pain?

Hello. I really need some input on an issue I ve been having. For the past 2 weeks I ve had very abnormal left side pain. However the side pain occurs when my lower left abdomen causes me serious discomfort throughout my back, side and pelvis. This morning I sat up out of bed and felt a lump in my lower abdomen that I think burst because I bled out of my private area soon after. Is there anyone that can tell me what this might be and if I should get seen by the doctor? Thank you

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history and understood your concerns.
Pain on left side of abdomen, discomfort on left side of abdomen back and pelvis, appearance of a lump and feeling of bursting followed by per-vaginal bleeding can be due to the following reasons:
Bursting of anything other that the hydrosalpinx that is inflammation with accumulation of pus in the Fallopian tube alone can cause per-vaginal bleeding too.
Other cause of pain as you have mentioned can be due to colitis, left ovarian cyst torsion and left ureteric stone.
This can be diagnosed y the following ways:
Clinical examination by a Gynecologist and General Surgeon can help for the clinical diagnosis.
To be confirmed by the following investigations:
Ultrasonography of abdomen.X-ray of the abdomen in standing position.
Tests of blood, stool and urine can help further.
All things together can help to have a proper diagnosis a thus a plan of proper management.
