What Causes Persistent Abdominal Pain Despite Treating Inflammed Bowel?
i was hospitilized and put on iv antibiotics because of painful stomach and abdomen they say it is inflammation of the small bowel i am home now but still have pain but milder i am no longer on anti is this just going to run its course or do i need doc
Thanks for asking at Healthcare Magic. I read your question and I understand your concern. Pain in abdomen after inflammation treatment implies two things. 1. Residual Inflammation still there 2. inflammation disrupts bowel motility that causes spasmodic pain. I would like to recommend you to take Hyoscine bromide, fibres and drink plenty of water. if you are running fever then you need antibiotic as well for another week. Hope it helps best.
