What Causes Pelvic Pain On The Left Side Of The Pelvic Area?

I have some pelvic pain on the left side of my pelvic area. The pain feels like gas it goes and come but it is still there. I have no temp and this pain has been going on for about 3 days now I am considering going to the er tomorrow. What could that pain be?

The left side of your pelvic side or so-called left hypochondrium, may be the place of:
1- Most probable CAUSES:
Colitis (inflammation of the colon) or colic nephritic related to a renal stone or infectious kidney disease
2- possible numerous pathologies
Kidney duct dilatations disease, polycystic disease, pancreatic (atypical) disease, pyelonephritis (kidney infection), intestinal tuberculosis.
3- exceptional pathologies

A gastroenterologist consult seems to me the best things to do.
