I am an 18 year old female. I have had chronic pelvic pain since I started having my period at age 12. I started birth control pills to help the symptoms at age 14. The pain continued to get worse so I got an IUD. Pain continued to get worse so I went to an OBGYN and he diagnosed me with endometriosis. Had a laparotomy to diagnose/remove endomitriosis. Had only a small amount of endometriosis that he removed but said otherwise everything else looked fine. The pain persisted. Started on a Lupron Depot shot to help my symptoms 4 months ago. I just got my second shot (1 every three months) about a month ago. The pain persists and just continues to get worse and worse to the point where I get nauseous and dizzy and can t leave my house. I have had a transvaginal ultrasound and I had a cat scan in October of 2017z all seemed normal. I am supposed to leave for college in 2 months but if I don t get this pin under control I will have to stay home. My OBGYN is great but I just don t have time to keep waiting to see if things get better . Any help would be much appreciated.
