After using for about 15-20 days new skin ha started coming and the foot has become patchy ie blackish spots and natural colour . Since I have used on whoever body I am having severe itching on whole body ie on back chest abdomen and even hands .My question is Is it because of using soap ,should I continue usin it or stop it Ramesh

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I have gone through your question and understand your concern. The symptoms you mentioned suggest eczema a condition where skin becomes dry, causing itch, irritation and patchy skin. Soaps can strip the natural skin oil's causing skin to turn dry leading to eczema and this is more common in winter months. Discontinue using the soap and use a mild soap instead like Cetaphil gentle cleansing bar followed by using a mild non scented body lotion after bath on towel dried skin.

Hope this will help. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Ayesha Shareef
