What Causes Panic Chest Pains In Night?

As of recently I ve been suffering from some very scary chest pains, typically at night. Tonight for instance I had such an episode that lasted almost 2 hours. I was just lying in bed when I began to feel weird. I had a rapid heartbeat, my chest felt heavy, I felt woozy & was really shaking. I almost called 911 but a friend I called assured me it was probably just a panic attack. I am afterall a somewhat healthy 26 yr old male. I exercise regularly, eat somewhat healthy & quit smoking just over a year ago. However, while looking into causes for chest pains on WebMD I read up on Myocarditis which sounds very similar to my current symptoms. Last November after having unprotected sex I showed symptoms of chlamydia such as pain while urinating & a milky discharge. I was given medication through Planned Parenthood. Symptoms appeared to stop for several weeks & then returned very mild, to the point where it took months to notice. This concerns me very much because Myocarditis, an inflammation of the heart muscle can occur when a viral infection such as chlamydia is left untreated. It reads to seek medical attention immediately. However as a server with no insurance I am reluctant to see a heart doctor immediately so I have requested an appointment with planned parenthood to have a blood test asap & then go from there. Any addition advice would be tremendous. I am somewhat concerned.

Hello dear, thanks for your question on HCM.
I can understand your situation and problem.
In my opinion you are having anxiety and panic disorder mostly.
But better to rule out cardiac cause first for your symptoms.
So get done ecg. If ecg is normal then no need to worry much for myocarditis or other cardiac causes
You are mostly having anxiety and panic disorder related chest pain.
So better to consult psychiatrist and get done counselling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in your life and start working on its solution.
Avoid stress and tension.
You may need anxiolytic drugs too.
Don't worry, you will be alright.
