Hi,

Signs of narcotic withdrawal are yawning, anxiety, tremor. Higher levels of withdrawal produce nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, diarrhea. And one of the main treatments is cognitive-behavioral therapy. Specifically forming a better structure of thoughts.

In this case "I had a panic attack because I could not breathe" is not addressable but "I could not breathe because I had a panic attack" a lot can be done for it. So, changing location and circumstance and realizing that a panic attack is unlikely to last a half-hour--the minimal time for taking a pill to do anything--is often enough.

Withdrawal starts 1 to 3 days after lowering/stopping narcotics, peaks at 4 to 7 days and is decreasing after that. Cannot say in your particular case, but generally, these would be the main points.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
