General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

The most common worry related to chest pain is the heart, however as you stated, if the pain was due to a heart attack, you would have needed hospital care by now.

Chest pain can be related to any structure in the chest , from the skin inwards.
This means that it can originate from the skin, lungs, heart, esophagus, muscles and other soft tissue, bones.
It can occur from anxiety as well.

If the pain and other symptoms continue, you may need to see your doctor for assessment.

Assessment would include entire history of your symptoms and any related conditions, physical examination and investigations (Eg ECG and chest x ray)

Treatment would depend on the cause found.

I hope this helps
