What Causes Pale Colored Stool With Bloating Sensation?
I have had pale colored stools three or four times in the past week or so. After having a pale stool, the color of stool did return to normal but then a day or two later the pale stool returned. This sequence has been going on for a little over a week. Intermittent pale stool I have no other symptoms except maybe bloating and feeling full of gas.
Hi. Thanks for your query. Noted the history of intermittent pale colored stools, 3-4 times in the last weeks without any other symptoms except bloating and gases. Your short history is suggestive of an intestinal infection, albeit mid one and may be the body will take care of it. I would advise you the following: Send the stool for tests as well as blood. Ultrasound to rule out gall stones or any other thing that the ultrasound can detect. Check for the liver function tests as it male indicate a cause. IF the reports are normal, watch for the foods and beverages that may be causing these and if found stop them altogether. If there is any positive finding, get it treated properly as per the reports and clinical evaluation.
