Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

If you are having the symptoms that you are describing, and not getting better, that means that you have not healed yet from the infection. In general a throat infection needs antibiotics. If you are already using them according to doctor's recommendation, and you are still not getting better, then maybe you should consider talking to the same doctor so they can reevaluate you and change the treatment if needed. But if you are getting better, then it is needed to just give the body time to recover after the infection. The symptoms will get better and better by the day. Using painkillers, drinking plenty of water and avoiding too hot or too cold foods may be helpful.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Dr. Klarida Papaqako
