Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hello, About 3 weeks ago I started having supraclavicular edema on the left side. It decreases and increases becoming tight and aching. I had a slightly positive TB skin test several years ago followed by 9 months of INH (negative chest x-ray). My NP friends sort of suggested it could be lymphoma or reated to my thyroid. I am 54 y/o grandmother.

What Causes Painful Supraclavicular Edema?
Hi, Get an Ultrasound of the area which is swollen. It could be a simple Edema of the skin and subcutaneous tissue or due to Lymph node enlargement. If Lymph node is enlarged, FINE NEEDLE ASPIRATION CYTOLOGY (FNAC) has to be done. Treatment depends on the investigations. Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Regards, Dr. Hari Charan Perigela, General Surgeon
