General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I understand your concern. Muscle cramps and muscle pain are quite common in Parkinson's disease. The cause is as yet unknown and it may manifest at any stage of the disease.
You might also be experiencing dystonia, which is often confused as muscle cramps, but is different in nature and cause. Dystonia is failure of the muscle to relax after it tightens or contracts and it is due to the wearing off of levodopa.
There is no treatment for muscle cramps but stretching and massage to the affected area , as well as over the counter pain killers can be quite helpful.

I hope this helps.
Wishing you all the best
