What Causes Painful Movement In Stomach With Numbness In Pelvis Post C Section?

I am having painful movement on my right side a little below ribcage on stomach. It has been since I ve had my C-Section. It feels as if a baby is rolling over in there. I was convinced it was phantom baby kicks but the past couple days that have been painful. I bent down to pick something up at work, and when I stood up a sharp pain came through that area and it made my right side from the pain down into pelvic area numb. And since then it has been uncomfortable.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The symptoms can be related to many medical conditions such as constipation, gas or appendix. An abdominal ultrasound is needed to confirm the diagnosis. Meanwhile, I suggest to use a spasmolytic to relieve the pain.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
