What Causes Painful Menstruation?
i dont miss my periods infact i have a regular cycle. but my periods are extremely painful. i got an ultrasound of my uterus and small sized cysts were found inside. i also have gained my weight to about 7kgs. and no matter how hard i try my im not getting any better. my facial hair are also increased. so do i have PCOS although my period cycle is regular?

Irregular menstruation is very common with PCOS. However, it is not a must. If you have multiple cysts and have hair growth this may be PCOS. I would suggest that you should get other supportive tests like hormone assays (LH, FSH) to be sure. Sometimes cysts may be there for other reason.
