What Causes Painful Lumps In Arms?

I have 3 lumps in my arm. They are located between my bicep and tricep and close to the forearm. The pain extends all the way up to my armpit. It hurts to raise my arm up. I ve had these lumps for maybe 2 weeks. Pain barely started 2 days ago. I workout a lot. When I barely got the lumps they were small with no pain which was possibly last week. I took some weeks away from exercising due to pains in both my arms. That is when I noticed the lumps. Then this week I worked out and the lumps swoled up. They got swollen I believe yesterday, and that s when I began experiencing pain. I have scheduled an appointment with my doctor on the 28th, but want an opinion beforehand so I can be aware if it is serious or not. Please help and thank you
