Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Pain may be due to quadriceps muscle sprain. Over-exercise will lead to muscle fatigue and accumulation Of waste products of metabolism responsible for pain.

Take rest and avoid squats for a week. take tab Ibuprofen thrice a day. Local application of ice packs and limb elevation will help. If a not relieved visit to orthopaedic surgeon is recommended.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Jayesh Vaza, Orthopaedic Surgeon
