What Causes Painful Defecation And Itching Around The Anus?

Hello Doctor, I have pain defecating and my perineum hurts when I press on it. It also itches around my anus but more so on my perineum. It has been like this for two months and I thought it would go away on its own. When it first started, it was hard to sit because of the pain. I don t know what to do or how to make it go away. It is very embarrassing and hard to talk to anyone about it.
