What Causes Painful Cramp In The Spine With Dizzy Spells?

Hi, I m 51 male and the symptom what I have is this; it feels like that someone tide a rope to my spine in the middle back and pulls it so hard that I cant breed, its like im trying to breath from my spine and I cant. Also feeling dizzy the last few days.I have this for a few years now, sometimes more or lees ,but now dizziness as well. So far doctors couldn t find anything. I have no problem exercising, it gets worst if I m under some kind of pressure (anxiety)? but i m not depressed ,nor am I a depressed person. Usually it starts after a wake up in the morning 30 min after maybe later, sometimes even if I feel totally relaxed (subconsciously trigged?) and sometimes just goes away without any reason. Weirdest feeling but very hard to live with.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.
If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedic and plan for an MRI scan.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
