What Causes Painful And Heavy Periods?

My period was three days late I thought I might be pregnant because my boyfriend and I have been trying for a little while now and always ends up not being pregnant and period starts on time but this time I thought I was because I was late three days. But I took a test and it was negative. Then I started my period but it has been heavier and I have had major pain in my stomach but it doesn t feel like period cramps.

I see all the possibility that you were pregnant this time. Home Prengancy test is reliable when done after 8 days delay in periods.
Possibility of early pregnancy with hormonal insifficiency/chemical pregnancy/ delay in period due some other cause.
please co sult your doctor .. so that she may add hornmones earlier to avoid the mishap again.
