What Causes Painful And Hard Lump In Toddler?
Hello dr. My son is two years old. All three of my kids were born with dimples above the buttholes thebonly was to see it if you change their diapers. I was changing my son and i notice there was a hard moveable lump and it was painful to him when i put pressure on it. It was never like this before. What coukd it be?

Hi....as you say its a movable but hard painful lump in the buttocks area, the possibilities could be -
1. Neurolipoma.
2. Simple lipoma.
3. Sebaceous cyst.
4. Dermoid getting secondarily infected.
I suggest you see your pediatrician for this.
