In my work as a key operator (think multiple Xerox printers), I do a lot of lifting and fast walking. I ve learned that if I don t wear tight-fitting underwear that puts cloth between my scrotum and thighs, I ll get painful abrasions that I must ignore and power through . In other words, they just get worse and worse, and I walk around like a marshmallow man. Last work shift, I instead got an abrasion between my gluteal cheeks -- my ass crack -- with the same results. I m a hairy guy. Is hair the cause of this? What can I do to prevent this, and treat this? I m in pretty good shape and consume a lot of vegetables, so it s not a matter of losing weight, I don t think.
