What Causes Pain While Chewing And Liquid In Ear While On Amox?
I was seen by a doctor yesterday because of an earache. He said that I have an ear infection and prescribed me Amox. My symptoms are a bad earache in what feels like my ear canal, and pain around the outside of my ear. It is also painful for me to chew. Now I am feeling a liquid in my ear. Does that mean that the Amox is working?

Hi,
It seems that you might be having Otitis media giving this problem.
Due to infection you feel this type of problem and due to enlarged lymph node in ear region.
Continue with amoxicilin for 5 days and you will be alright.
Do not allow water going into ear canal while taking bath.
