What Causes Pain Under The Rib Cage?

Looking down, I have a lot of painful pressure under the ribcage with more pain on the left hand side. It happens at night, after dinner. My head feels like it is falling off and I am extremely bloated with a tight abdomen. I had cake and ice cream for dessert. Do you think pancreatitis is possible? Should I go to the doctor tomorrow?
