What Causes Pain Under Left Rib And Unusual Taste In Mouth While Having Cysts In Pancreas?

I have many problems. I have pain under my left rib. Gurling after I eat and goes down to intestines. This pain has been off and on for along time. I have foul smelling stools--smells metalic and somerimes have a taste in my mouth. Cat scan showed 4 or mre cysts in my pancreas abou 4mm. Also have a 26mm hemagioma and had parasites but did the treatment and have ulcers.. Parasites are gone and have been off of medication fow two weeks now.

Hi,

The cysts in pancreas seem to interfere with secretion of pancreatic digestive hormone.

This causes indigestion og food, specially fats..leading to more gas formation in guts. The gas collects under ribs to cause pain.

Indigestion disturbs normal intestinal flora to change smell to stools & metalic taste in mouth.

You should Avoid eating oily food/ take digestive enzyme preparation over the counter (vitazyme or Digiplex). And have buttermilk in diet to substitute the damaged intestinal flora. Consult a gastroenterologist for more specific treatment.
