I have pain in the tips of my third and fourth toe sometimes on both feet but mostly my right foot. no resent injury, i broke my toe 40 pluse years ago, hurts to wear socks and shoes not all the time, could this be a result due to my back problems which is more in my butt
Hi and welcome to Healthcaremagic. Thank you for your query.. I understand your concerns and I will try to help you as much as I can.
This may be related to back problems if there is compressive neuropathy but this is less common. more likely these symptoms are indicating circulatory problems in legs and there may be present atherosclerosis that obstructs blood vessels and causes pain.. You should do Doppler ultrasound of the leg or CT angiography to rule out such obstructive changes and then it can be treated properly by medications or by surgical and radiological procedures. ALso, you should have aspirine 100 and have elastic stockings applied, and should avoid cold environment and long walks. If this is excluded, then MRI of the spine is required to rule out compressive neuropathy.
I hope I have answered you query. If you have any further questions you can contact us in every time. Kindly regards. Wish you a good health.
