What Causes Pain On The Left Side Next To The Breast And Under The Arm?

Hi, my name is christine and i am a 48 year old (overweight) women. I have been experiencing a pain on my left side, it does NOT hurt when i breathe, cough or sneeze, it hurts when i move certain ways, but it almost feels like these is something in there. I really don t know how to describe it, it is a really weird pain on the left side, NEXT to my breast under my arm, like my rib cage or somewhere.

Hi,

The location and movement of a pain gives clues as to what is going on. There are a surprisingly large number of organs in that area. From the OUTSIDE IN. There are muscles and tendons that go to the limb and shoulder. There is also space for infection (hidrantiva) that usually needs surgery to fix. There are nerves that run out from there. There is the shoulder and collar bone joints and bones . Then there is the lung and pneumonia, tumor even old scar tissue can cause pain.
