Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I am an electrician, and I got shocked pretty hard at work today. Now I m having pain in my wrist. Inside the joint. The pain almost feels like I sprained it, but there was no fall/injury to it, so I know it s not that. Do you think this is normal and/or short term?
It is quite common after an electric shock, it will last for few days and then settle. No definite treatment is required. As of now you can use analgesics/anti inflammatory combination like Aceclofenac/Seratiopeptdase for symptomatic relief.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you all the best.
Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
