General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The most possible cause will be a gastritis. As a first line management you can take antacids like Omeprazole or Pantoprazole for symptomatic relief. Avoid spicy foods and alcohol.

If symptoms persist better to consult a gastroenterologist and get evaluated. In that case we have to rule out possibilities like pancreatitis also. You might require an endoscopy also.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further. Wishing you all the best.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain, General & Family Physician
