What Causes Pain In The Shoulder Blades And Neck After An Accident?
Hello .. I was rear ended on the 15/12/2015 ... and have been in pain since .. Shoulder blades , neck , headaches, pain radiating down my left arm into my left hand and being weak and numb ... Extra showes unconvertable osteophytes with narrowing of the left foraminae - Can this be caused by being rear ended and whiplash ????
Thanks for writing to HealthCareMagic, I am Dr Muhammd Ahmad, I have closely read your question and I understand your concerns, I will hereby guide you regarding your health related problem.
Usually there is some extent of whiplash present in such injuries but this gets better with time, your problems seems to be related to the damage to your spine that happened, our first approach in this case is usually medication if that doesnt help then we ho for surgery or injections.
I would suggest you to contact a physiotherapist too ...a good set of physiotherapy sessions can help big time.
I hope this answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask, otherwise close the discussion and rate it.
Regards.
