Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi, this is Sandeep. I m feeling pain in my right side of face. It starts near to the area of ear and goes into right eye, lower teeth. Though it is moderate but I feel annoyed because of it. Could you please suggest the medication and cause of it. Regards, Sandeep
Pain beginning near the ear that is radiating to the eye and teeth can be probably related to TMJ or the jaw joint.. If the pain is in the form short episodes of electric shock like pain then it can be due to nerve related pain or Trigeminal Neuralgia... If you have a decayed tooth then it can also be a cause.. So my suggestion is to get examined to rule out the exact cause of the problem. Treatment of underlying cause will resolve the problems. For now you can take painkillers like brufen (Ibuprofen)..
Hope this helps.. Regards.
