General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi,

I am sorry for the pain you are feeling.

In order to manage the pain you are feeling, we should determine the cause:
- torn cartilage/rotator cuff : do you remember to have done any heavy physical activity prior to pain started? any sharp movement of the right arm? weighing heavy objects?
- arthritis: have you done any lab test so far like x-ray of the shoulder and elbow joint? Any blood test for arthritis?
- pinching nerve

If they did not find anything abnormal, then, you should:
- rest your arm more
- apply alternating heat and cold compresses locally
- take oral analgesics
- apply anti-inflammatory cream locally
- physiotherapy

Hope this helps.
