What Causes Pain In The Right Lower Leg?

I have started having pain in the front of my right lower leg. Strange this is that it bothers me when I m resting....mostly when I lie down. It started gradually a few weeks ago when I would lie on my right side. I could turn to my back and it would ease off and stop. Now, it starts when I lie down...no matter the position. It is even hurting slightly now while I am sitting. Haven t noticed any swelling or discoloration.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi

I understand your concern.

The pain you feel on your right leg when resting seems to be related to possible hip joint problems: inflammation or changes in this joint.

I advise to run x-ray of the hip joint and consult with orthopedic specialist first.

Meanwhile take Ibuprofen for the pain. Physiotherapy can help.

Wish fast recovery.
