What Causes Pain In The Neck And Head?

Hi, I ve had head and neck pain for the past seven years, in the past it would come and go about every three weeks, but now it s every day, I wake with such a bad pain in my lower skull that seems to travel up to the third eye area, also in the morning I hear like a white noise in my head which seems to come suddenly for a couple of seconds and then dissappear, but happens several times, then as I get up it feels like my head is all fizzy, I don t know how else to describe it. I can hear all the neck bones crunching together when I turn my head and my nose often tends to be blocked to. Then sometimes if I m lucky the pain will just suddenly stop during the day.I also wear glasses for small print, but lately when I put them on the back of my eyes really ache and I don t like wearing them much as it hurts, I m also experienceing a great deal of peripheral vision disturbances seeing things moving about, black dots, wavey lines, sometimes bright flashes, and I have incessant high pitched frequencies going off in both ears, do you think all these things are related and have you any idea what please? General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

As a first line management you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief.

If symptoms persist, it is better to consult a physician and get evaluated.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
